Connecting rivers, mountains and adventurers since 1992

Getting out of your comfort zone to conquer a whitewater challenge TOGETHER … there is no better way to team build than a day out together for a staff rafting trip on our amazing rivers. And with 3 great corporate rafting trips to choose from, there’s a river adventure perfect for your team.

“Thank you for the wonderful whitewater rafting trip! It would seem that everyone, myself included, walked away VERY satisfied. There’s talk that they want to do this again, I think you’ll be seeing us back soon. One of my co-workers told me that this “was the most fun he’d ever had on a company outing”. That pretty much says it all. You guys rock!” ~ PSI Fluid Power

A staff rafting trip is the ultimate teambuilder

Whitewater rafting with us continues to be a top choice for staff teams based in Vancouver, and for corporate groups from around the world visiting Vancouver and Whistler on an incentive trip.  And for good reason. Canadian Outback Rafting’s corporate rafting trips combine your desire to bond together as a team with spectacular Super Natural BC scenery.

Magic happens when you’re out on the river together. On our whitewater trips, first comes nervousness … “What have you gotten us into?” Camaraderie then builds as your bus pulls up to the put-in. “Team, there’s a challenge ahead and we need to take it on together as one”. Then it’s straight into battle against the Devil’s Elbow. Within minutes your team will be tighter than ever, paddling in perfect synchronicity to take on every challenge that comes your way … “We can do anything when we work together!”

Finish up your amazing day with a catered meal back at our rafting resort, toast your team high up in the mountains at the Sea To Sky Gondola, or head back to the city or Whistler for an amazing dinner together. Your people will walk back into the office totally engaged and ready to conquer anything that comes their way.

“The crew and the experience were unbelievable. I brought my staff on this trip for a staff party a week ago…. they are still talking about it!!!!! Thanks Canadian Outback Rafting, Graham and the rest of the crew. You bet we will be doing this again next year!!!” ~ Stonesedge Whistler

Our talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to ride big waves and catch air as you navigate down the Class 3-4 Elaho and Squamish Rivers. Your courage will be tested as you travel through the infamous “Devil’s Elbow” section of the rapids, as seen on TV’s famous Eco-Challenge Adventure Race. Depending on the water levels, you’ll also be able to swim through some small rapids and enjoy a few laughs as your crewmates scramble to stay on board.

Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, your river journey will take you through 16 kms of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness. Take time to appreciate your surroundings and enjoy the world-class scenery including old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet toward the river. If you’re really lucky you’ll get a glimpse of the local deer, beavers and bears which often stop by the river’s edge.

Anyone can participate in this rafting trip and no prior rafting experience is required.

This is white water rafting at its best!

“The Elaho Exhilarator trip was perfect. The guides were very well organized and efficient, but without rushing their guests. The rafting trip itself was just the right length — not too long, not too short. Highly recommended.”~ ScottF702

Add-ons you should consider:

  • Move your group to our rafting base in the style and comfort of a limo or chartered highway coach. Show your photos on the way back!
  • Invest in all the photos and hi-def GoPro videos from your day. Perfect for your company slideshow and recruitment efforts.

At the end of the Elaho Exhilarator route, we’ll continue our journey for a few more miles down the river until we reach our remote wilderness camp area. All your supplies for the overnighter will be packed tightly on our rafts. As you climb off the rafts and onto the sandy beach, you’ll be greeted by smiling camp staff with a filling spread of hors d’oeuvres. While you change into your camp attire, your guides will prepare you a delicious three course meal. Then all you’ve got to do is relax by the fire and absorb the stunning views of the region. As the night ends, the expression “getting away from it all” will come to mind as millions of stars light up the sky! For big city folk, it doesn’t get much better than this.

“We slept between the mountains, trees and glaciers and fell asleep while looking at the beautiful sky filled with stars. I’d like to thank the entire crew and especially Jean for a trip that I will never forget!” ~ Inge-k1993

The next morning, wake to the sound of the river, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast. Your second river day will be spent floating down the calm waters of the Squamish River, a much more gentle and serene river. The spectacular sights this river valley has to offer will allow you to enjoy old growth forests, glaciers, dormant volcanoes, waterfalls, and a wide variety of wildlife, scenery that you’ll see in very few other regions.

Following your exciting rafting trip we’ll take you on a short bus ride to our breathtaking rafting resort in the Squamish Valley. You’ll be able to change back into your own clothes and check out the photos and GoPro Videos shot on the trip. Relax while you enjoy the stunning glacial views, sit by the fire, or challenge your fellow paddlers to a volleyball game and experience true Canadian Wilderness.

“Fantastic way to spend a weekend outdoors!” ~ Aleida222

“We did the two day rafting trip. First day gave us plenty of adrenaline rush and, yes, the water is freezingly cold. Spending the night in the outdoors was great. They took care of everything. Second day trip was milder but even more beautiful than the first day. Guides are experts and extremely friendly. You could not choose a better outfit than Canadian Outback.” ~ Bonnie L
