The Family-Friendly Cheakamus Splash and Sea-to-Sky Gondola combo is a full-day fun trip that features rafting on small splashy rapids, outstanding scenery and lots of laughs, along with amazing views and trails at the peak of the Gondola. It’s an ideal outdoor activity for families, children, seniors, and anyone looking for a gentle and fun scenic adventure.

Leave the city behind as you hop onto our Vancouver shuttle, and take in the views along the famously scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway to get to our Squamish rafting resort to begin your adventure on the Cheakamus River.

As you raft down the glacier-fed Cheakamus River between old growth forests, you’ll experience the excitement of gentle rapids and see a variety of birds, wildlife, waterfalls, and the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia. At the same time you’ll learn about the intriguing Squamish First Nations history, a key part of the history of the area.

Of course anytime kids get around water, you know there will be a water fight!  Perfect the art of splashing others (you never know when the Splash Monster will rise out of the river!), and get a chance to cool off with a quick dip in the pure, glacier-fed, jade-tinted water.

When your river journey ends, we’ll take you to our rafting resort where you’ll be able to change back into your own clothes and check out the photos and GoPro videos shot on the trip. Then you’ll head to the Sea-to-Sky Gondola to begin your adventure in the mountains with a 10-minute ride to the top at 885m above sea level.

The ride up provides sweeping views of Howe Sound, the majestic coastal forest and surrounding mountains. Once at the top, many other adventures await. Access a wide array of outdoor experiences including two different interpretive loop walking trails with cantilevered viewing platforms, the spectacular Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, numerous hiking trails, and much more. After we say goodbye, hop back onto our shuttle to head home back to Vancouver.
