What to expect on your first Cheakamus River rafti What to expect on your first Cheakamus River rafting trip 👇

You’ll meet your guide, get geared up, and head out to the river for a quick, easy safety rundown—then it’s straight into the adventure.

Once you’re on the water, it’s a mix of everything: gentle, playful rapids, paddling as a team, and plenty of laughs along the way. Expect water fights, chances to hop in for a swim, and those moments in between rapids where you can take in the scenery, and wildlife if you're lucky.

Back at base, the good vibes keep going. Dry off, check out your trip photos, and hang out with your crew—whether that’s relaxing, playing games, or just soaking in the mountain views a little longer.

Perfect for families, first-timers, and anyone looking for a fun, easy way to get outside.

Would you bring your crew? 🌊

You’ll meet your guide, get geared up (wetsuit, booties, helmet, the whole setup), and run through a quick but confidence-boosting safety briefing—no experience needed.

Then it’s go time.

You’ll hit the water on the Elaho and Squamish Rivers, paddling through Class 3–4 rapids with your crew. Expect big splashes, adrenaline, and a few legendary sections like Devil’s Elbow, Mike Tyson, and Steamroller. If you’re feeling brave, you might even hop in and float through a smaller rapid.

In between the action, take it all in—glaciers, waterfalls, old-growth forests, and maybe even wildlife along the riverbanks. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you forget your phone exists.

Back at base, the vibe shifts. Warm up, change into dry clothes, watch back your GoPro moments, and hang out fireside or on the volleyball court with your new rafting crew.

No experience required, just a sense of adventure.

Would you try it? 🌊
